What We Offer

TK Cottage School

MCS is excited to introduce our transitional kindergarten program! Our TK program is designed for children with a late birthday to experience a school setting in preparation for kindergarten.

K-1 Cottage School

MCS is equipped to provide small group instruction for families who homeschool. The cottage meets three days a week for Kindergarten and provides a structured curriculum in reading and math while working on social skills.

K-3 Private Tutoring

MCS offers private tutoring in areas of reading and math for students in grades K-3. Private tutoring provides one-on-one targeted instruction for students in need of direct intervention.

K-3 Group Tutoring

MCS provides small group sessions for students in areas of reading and math. Small groups consist of a max of 5 students and allows children to learn and grow with their peers.

Transitional Kindergarten

Transitional kindergarten, similar to preschool, is a program focused on preparing your child for kindergarten. This program is designed for children who cannot begin kindergarten until closer to age 6 due to having a late birthday (birthday falling between the months of September - December).

In our TK program, we will work with your growing kinder on fine motor skills, social skills, letter identification, letter sounds, counting, and so much more! Contact us to learn more about how our program works.

Kindergarten/1st Grade

Our kindergarten and first grade class is full of fun, engaging and hands-on learning activities, structured curriculum, socialization, and so much more! Class sizes cap at 6 children, so your child never has to feel overwhelmed with large groups. Contact us to learn more about how our program works.

k-3 Private Tutoring

A private tutoring session is a one to one intervention service solely focused on your child! Your child will receive up to an hour or two hours of intensive intervention to help in remediating skills in areas of reading or math. Contact us to learn more about private tutoring and discover how we can help your child.

K-3 Group Tutoring

A group tutoring session may consist of up to 5 students all requiring remediation in the same subject area. Your child will be able to work within a small group of peers to help them learn and grow in areas they need remediation. Children often learn best from peers! If you feel a group session is best for your child, contact us to learn more about group tutoring and how we can help your child.

I am the founder of Magical Cottage School and I am excited you’re here! I have been teaching for 5 years and have been a private tutor for 3 years. I graduated from Delta State with both my Bachelors and Masters in Elementary Education. Helping children learn and grow is one of my greatest passions.
